• Offer 2 or 4 rakat optional namaz;

• Recite Surah Fateha for 3 times;
• Offer the sawaab of this fateha to prophet Muhammad (SAW);
• Again recite Durood shareef for 3 times;
• Recite surah Fateha for 3 times again;
• Now recite “Ya Hameedu Tahmatta Bil ‘Hamde Wal ‘Hamdu Fi ‘Hamde ‘Hamdika Ya ‘Hameed“  for  3 times;
• Then recite “Ya Majeedu Majjatta Bil Majde Wal Majdu Fi Majde Majdika Ya Majeed“ for 3 times;
• Then recite the dua given below-

ALLAAHUMMA INNAKA TAQDEERO WALA AQDEERO WATA LAMOO WALA ‘AA LAMOO WA ANTA ALLAAMUL ‘GHUYOOB FA IN RA A’EETA ANNA FI FALAA NATIN

name of the person for whom you are reading this. Bin te /Bin ‘girl’s/boy’s mother’s name’ (if you don’t know mother’s name recite ‘Hawwa’)

WA-YUSAMMIHA BISMIHAA KHAIRALLEE FI DEENI WA DUNIYAAE WA A’KHIRATEE FAQDUR HAALI WA IN KAANA FI ‘GHAIREHAA ‘KHAIRALLIM-MIN-HAA FI DEENI WA A’KHIRATEE FAQDIR HAALI

Then recite the below Durood Shareef in the end.

Wa SallALLAHU Ta ‘Aala ‘Ala MuhammadinwwaAlehi Wa Ashaabihi Wa Barik Wasallim
